PSA will be participating at the 29th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP29) at Baku, Azerbaijan this year.
In line with COP29 theme of ‘In Solidarity for a Green World’, PSA recognises that forging a path towards a sustainable future necessitates going the distance to spearhead the green transformation across our ports and supply chain operations.
PSA will host three insightful sessions at the PSA booth (F12) within the Green Zone, showcasing how we leverage technology, data, and innovation to accelerate the energy transition. In addition, PSA will be taking part in activities at the Blue Zone, such as presentations and panel discussions at the Azerbaijan Pavilion and the Kazakhstan Pavilion, as well as the Voyage to Net Zero Forum at the Singapore Pavilion.
Join us to hear from PSA leaders and partners as we explore the development of green port ecosystems anchored on PSA’s global nodes, enabling efficient and sustainable supply chains and supporting advancing climate action through strategic partnerships and broader value-chain collaborations.

In today’s dynamic geopolitical and environmental landscape, global supply chains are evolving to meet new challenges. This has driven a shift in sourcing strategies, with companies turning to re-shoring and friend-shoring to enhance resilience and adaptability.
Strengthening supply chain resilience is essential not only for mitigating short-term disruptions, but also for identifying sustainable pathways to long-term growth. At the heart of this transformation lies the power of data and digitalisation in supply chain management. By leveraging data-driven insights, leaders can optimise decision-making, decarbonise supply chains, and play a pivotal role in driving energy transition.
What success stories can guide us toward a future of sustainable supply chains? How can data become the linchpin for unlocking new opportunities in the global energy transition?

Ports and their surrounding ecosystem clusters are critical drivers of global economic growth and creating employment opportunities.
Collaboration between co-located companies, governments and other stakeholders within the ecosystem are instrumental to fully maximise the potential to contribute to a net zero future.
To this end, ports must adopt standardised, cooperative approaches that integrate economic growth with environmental sustainability. What frameworks can port ecosystem clusters implement to harmonise efforts, reduce emissions, and accelerate progress toward net zero goals? How can they successfully balance economic objectives with the increasing need for sustainability?

International maritime transport is responsible for approximately 3% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, making it a crucial sector in the fight against climate change. The Voyage to Net Zero Forum, jointly organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and the COP29 Singapore Pavilion, will bring together key maritime stakeholders to discuss and advance the transition to green fuels. This pivotal event aligns with the International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) GHG emission reduction targets, promoting the adoption of low or zero carbon green fuels and spotlighting Singapore’s leadership in maritime decarbonisation.
PSA Head of Technology & Sustainability Solutions, PSA Singapore / Head of PSA unboXed, PSA International Alvin Foo will be participating in the following segments during the Forum.
Presentation 1: Insights from Singapore’s Simultaneous Methanol Bunkering and Cargo Operation
Presentation 2: Enabling the Green Energy Transition: Creating the Next Generation Energy Hub for Singapore
Panel Discussion / Q&A
