NPCT1 Wins Container Terminal Operator of the Year at Indonesia Logistics Awards 2026

New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT1) was named Container Terminal Operator of the Year at the Indonesia Logistics Awards (ILA) 2026 on 8 October 2026, marking the first time the terminal has received this prestigious recognition.

Organised by Supply Chain Indonesia, a leading professional institution specialising in logistics and supply chain research, consulting, training, and executive events, the ILA is an annual awards programme recognising outstanding companies, institutions, and leaders across Indonesia’s logistics and transportation sectors.

The award is particularly meaningful as NPCT1 celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026. This milestone reflects the collective efforts and strong support of its stakeholders, including PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo), Mitsui & Co., Ltd (Mitsui), Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. (ONE), shipping lines and the broader logistics ecosystem. Above all, it recognises the dedication, professionalism and hard work of our colleagues at NPCT1, whose contributions have been instrumental in the terminal’s growth and operational achievements over the past decade.

The continued partnership and support of the terminal’s union have also played an important part in fostering collaboration, strengthening employee engagement and advancing shared goals. Beyond its people, the recognition underscores NPCT1’s continued commitment to maintaining operational reliability, enhancing service capabilities and ensuring the smooth flow of containers through the Tanjung Priok Port area.

Commenting on the achievement, PSA International Regional CEO Southeast Asia Nelson Quek said, “We are proud to receive this recognition from the Indonesia Logistics Awards as NPCT1 marks its 10th anniversary. This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our employees and the trust placed in us by our shareholders, customers, union and partners across the supply chain. As we look ahead, we will continue to strengthen NPCT1’s capabilities, deepen collaboration across the logistics ecosystem, and advance PSA’s Node to Network strategy to enable more seamless, resilient and sustainable supply chains. We thank everyone who has been part of NPCT1’s journey and look forward to creating greater value for Indonesia’s trade and economic growth in the years ahead.”

Looking ahead, NPCT1 will continue to support the growth and resilience of Indonesia’s logistics ecosystem through its Node to Network strategy, strengthening connectivity and collaboration across the supply chain. The terminal will also focus on improving operational efficiency, including the planned introduction of two new rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes in 2027, while further enhancing service delivery through closer collaboration with customers, employees, the union and stakeholders across the ecosystem.
