Incheon Container Terminal and Pusan Newport International Terminal (PNIT) came together in a concerted effort to donate 13 million Korean Won (S$15,000) to the Korean Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer (KACLC). Some individuals also went the extra mile and contributed further by donating a total of 70 packs of blood to the Association.

At a ceremony held in PNIT on 9 July 2019, Head of PSA Korea and President PNIT Lee Seok presented the cheque and blood donation certificates to Secretary General of KACLC Cheon Jin Wook.

Each certificate can be used by patients and exchanged for one pack of blood when a life-saving transfusion is needed. Three children were given much needed medical treatment following a similar drive last year; while this year’s donation will continue to aid others in their fight against these diseases.
