PSA’s Safety Week 2020, held from 15 to 21 January 2019, saw PSA Business Units (BUs) from all around the world organise a diverse range of on-site safety activities for colleagues, contractors and other external stakeholders. While the types of activities were varied, it was a common rallying call of “Everybody Makes a Difference!” for the cause of safety, that united the global PSA family.

Engagement and participation were high amongst colleagues across the PSA group. The PSA Safety Week activities globally featured messages from Group CEO Tan Chong Meng, respective Regional CEOs and business unit leaders emphasising the importance of working safely. Activities included cross-functional walkabouts, skits, performances and simulated emergency exercises and drills. The main message being that, for building a robust safety culture, we need to re-engage our eyes and minds, so as to consistently sharpen our safety instincts.

In the words of Group CEO Tan Chong Meng, “We can all help to save lives, and that life we save could very well be our own.”
