Global eTrade Services Bags Coveted Business Award

Global eTrade Services (GeTS) recently took home a coveted award at the Singapore Business Review (SBR) Asian Business Case Studies Awards 2020.

GeTS won the “ePayment Case Study of the Year” for CALISTA® Insights, which is a module under digital supply chain platform CALISTA®.

PSA has been collaborating with GeTS on innovations and solutions – including CALISTA® – to facilitate global trade flow and improve processes in the supply chain.

CALISTA® users can access and view trade activity and track the start and end-points of trade transactions. CALISTA® Insights, leveraging such information on trade activity and transactions by CALISTA® users, can simplify the verification process of the cross-border transfer of funds performed by payment partners.

In the simplified process, payment partners will receive a notification when payment has reached the beneficiary. They are also able to follow up on their transactions in real-time, which is crucial in time-sensitive environments. This ultimately helps in the timely release of warehouse space, goods, and services for logistic companies.

The SBR Business Case Studies Awards recognises exceptional business solution providers in Asia. Entries are judged on the criteria of uniqueness and innovation, effectiveness and impact, dynamism and client feedback.
