Mersin International Port (MIP) in Turkey set a new monthly record with the handling of 175,857 TEUs in October 2019, representing the highest container volume to be handled in a single month by a Turkish port!

Prior to its latest milestone, MIP had handled one million TEUs from January to June, achieving the highest volume ever recorded for the first half of a year in the history of Turkey’s port operations.
