MSC PSA European Terminal (MPET) in Belgium, handled 17,840 TEUs on container ship MSC Mina in June 2020, setting a record for the highest number of containers handled during a vessel’s single call in the Port of Antwerp.

MPET had surpassed its previous handling record, set earlier in April when it handled 15,237 TEUs on the vessel MSC Valeria. 

MSC Mina, one of the world’s largest container ships, has a capacity of 23,656 TEUs. It features a length of 400 meters, a breadth of 61 meters and a draft of 16.5 meters.
