PSA’s Pusan Newport International Terminal (PNIT) has been recognised in a listing of the “Top 100 Companies – A Great Place to Work” by South Korea’s Ministry of Employment & Labour (MoEL).

The award ceremony was held on 25 July 2019 at the Government Convention Centre in Sejong City, where South Korea’s Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon personally presented the certificate to PNIT President Lee Seok.

The only container terminal in the country to be conferred this prestigious distinction by the government, PNIT was selected due to its successful efforts in improving labour-management relations and creating high-quality jobs. Its “Go Green” campaign and Safety Week were also lauded for their promotion of a safe and healthy work environment, while PNIT’s involvement in PSA Group workshops and projects, their provision of vacation benefits and rehiring of employees after retirement, among other staff welfare considerations, were highlighted as enhancements to the quality of their workplace.
