The world is facing climate change and all of us have a responsibility to contribute to environmental protection. With one dual fuel LNG harbour tug currently in service and another joining the PSA Marine fleet by end December 2019, PSA Marine and Wärtsilä have pledged to design and develop more solutions for smart and low-emission harbour craft.
At the first anniversary of the Wärtsilä Acceleration Centre’s opening on 14 November 2019, Managing Director of PSA Marine Peter Chew and Managing Director of Wärtsilä Singapore Mervin Ong signed a Letter of Intent to mark the next phase of collaboration between the two organisations. The intention is to integrate the deep capabilities developed in the IntelliTug project with new configurations and concepts of hybrid, electric and other clean energy sources.
