PSA Singapore and CMA CGM Join Hands to Make a Difference for Local Communities

In the spirit of giving back to local communities, PSA Singapore joined hands with CMA CGM to organise a meaningful afternoon where volunteers distributed food and spread cheer to senior beneficiaries of the Thye Hua Kwan (THK) Moral Charities Active Ageing Centre in Singapore.
Some 30 PSA Health@Home volunteers, comprising of staff and retirees, participated in the event on 7 October. Collectively, the volunteers packed 250 bags of groceries and essential items for the beneficiaries. The volunteers also got the chance to learn more about food security and reducing food wastage from The Food Bank Singapore. The charity collects food donations from individual and organisations and serves more than 300 social welfare organisations.
Through meaningful collaborations for the community, PSA Singapore hopes to spread and multiply the “Doing Good” movement amongst its stakeholders and business partners. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) team at PSA Singapore has been exploring creative ways to collaborate with different stakeholders and customers within the port, logistics and shipping industry, to do good for the community.
