PSA Singapore and CrimsonLogic Partner to Grant 500 Wishes

As part of SG Cares Giving Week 2021, PSA Singapore and CrimsonLogic have once again partnered to fulfil wishes from 500 individuals in need!

Held annually from 1 to 7 December, SG Cares Giving Week is Singapore’s national cause that celebrates the spirit of giving and seeks to make giving a part of our way of life. Since 2020, PSA Singapore and CrimsonLogic have worked alongside to support this meaningful movement through the “Wishing for 500 Smiles” initiative. Encouraged by its success when it was first launched last year, “Wishing for 500 Smiles” is now making an impact on the lives of many more in its second year.

This year, the wishes came from 500 beneficiaries comprising the Children’s Cancer Foundation (Singapore), HCA Hospice Care, Lions Befrienders, and The Haven (The Salvation Army Singapore), as well as those living in rental housing blocks. These beneficiaries included patients with life-limiting illnesses, elders who live alone, at-risk youths, and low-income residents.

Since November, the PSA Health@Home organising team has collated and published the wishes online for Singapore-based PSA staff and CrimsonLogic staff to view, allowing them to adopt wishes individually, as a group, or as a department.

It was heartening to see the combined enthusiastic response from PSA Singapore, PSA Marine, CrimsonLogic and PSA International! Our staff eagerly participated in this purposeful initiative and were quick to fulfil the various wishes for toys, educational materials, furniture, electrical appliances, and other necessities. Very quickly, all the wishes, amounting to a total value of over $35,000, were adopted, ushering in a joyful holiday season for every beneficiary.

PSA is committed to staying alongside our community and working hand in hand with like-minded partners.
