PSA Singapore Participates in Singapore’s Climate Action Week 2021

Climate change is a global challenge and all across PSA, staff have been taking steadfast actions to build a sustainable future. To play their part in this sustainability movement, staff at PSA Singapore recently took part in and supported the Climate Action Week 2021 – an annual initiative organised by Singapore’s Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.

From 12 to 18 July, employees took part in a range of activities that either saw them getting involved in the 3Rs – reduce, reuse and recycle – or gaining more knowledge and awareness about climate change issues by participating in webinars and conversations on the topic. One such webinar of note was the Green Port Conversion webinar spearheaded by Singapore’s National Research Foundation. Through these activities, a better understanding of Singapore’s efforts in reducing the country’s carbon emissions through extensive research and innovation was gained by all.

Finally, the team at PSA Singapore put up a highlight video to showcase its sustainability efforts and share various resources for staff to learn how to reduce their personal carbon footprint, play their part in the fight against climate change and build greener mindsets to mobilise positive change in the future.
