At the annual Singapore Environment Council (SEC) Conference Day 2018 held on the 30 August 2018, PSA Singapore was awarded the SEC-MPA Environment Achievement Award which recognises commitment to environmental sustainability in the Maritime industry.

The award criteria focuses on assessing organisational leadership, real environmental improvements, and the organisation’s ability to establish procedures, train staff and innovate to achieve breakthroughs in environmental performance.

In pursuit of being green and future ready, PSA Singapore has taken great strides in reducing its carbon footprint by not only tapping on renewable energy and continuing the electrification of port equipment, but also in working to change the mindsets of its people.
