PSA Singapore has received the Digital Achievers (Team) award at the Tech Leader Awards 2023! The award is a noteworthy recognition of PSA Singapore’s new OptETruck solution that helps hauliers to maximise their resource utilisation, through features such as real-time resource-matching algorithm and predictive modelling capabilities.

At the awards event held in May 2023, Singapore’s Minister for Communications and Information Josephine Teo presented the Digital Achievers (Team) award to PSA Singapore’s Head of Infocomm Technology and Data Colin Yip, who received it on behalf of the PSA Singapore IT Team.

The Tech Leader Awards is organised by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) and features awards in four categories. Following open nominations, winners are selected by a judging panel comprising distinguished individuals from businesses, the public sector, and academia. The Digital Achievers (Team) award recognises teams for their contributions in the digital fronts with measurable benefits.

Powered by artificial intelligence, OptETruck facilitates smarter trip planning and eliminates operational inefficiencies. With this solution, PSA Singapore aims to cut one empty trip per truck per day, which can lead to an annual reduction of 9.6 million kg of carbon emissions – equivalent to 300,000 trees planted in a year!
