Bharat Kolkata Container Terminals (BKCT) received the “Smart Container Terminal Award” for the second time running at the Smart Logistics Awards 2019, which were held in Kolkata on 21 February 2019.

The Smart Logistics Awards 2019 reward the best performers across the value chain of the shipping and logistics industry in the Kolkata region. The event recognised businesses that have overcome bottlenecks and improved their process flows with smart and innovative business solutions. It also acknowledged the key players of the industry for their contributions to Kolkata’s export-import market and trade.

This accolade is testament to BKCT’s effort to deliver efficient services to India’s trade ecosystem and to the hard work of their staff – in recognition of their continuous efforts towards finding solutions to deliver high productivity and service levels, alongside their customers and the Kolkata Port Trust.
