Since the incorporation of Saudi Global Ports (SGP) in 2015, SGP has been co-sponsoring annual workshops for both staff as well as representatives from the Saudi Port Authority (MAWANI). The latest seven-day workshop was conducted by PSA University in Singapore in October 2019.

The recent session was tailored towards middle-level management personnel who were looking to hone their knowledge in areas such as vessel, yard, container freight station and container depot planning. Participants included four female operations staff from SGP and five female Saudi Nationals from MAWANI. Tapping PSA’s accumulated global skillsets and knowledge, the workshop’s content aimed to provide best-in-class training and know-how in container-related operations.
