Puerto Aguadulce handled its milestone one millionth TEU on 6 January 2021 since it commenced operations in 2016 at the port of Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.

“The one millionth container represents our efforts to generate social and economic development in Buenaventura,” said Puerto Aguadulce General Manager Miguel Abisambra. “The special characteristics of our terminal and the highly trained and dedicated staff make it possible to generate more options and connections, as well as attract more investments and opportunities for the country.”

Since its beginnings, Puerto Aguadulce has gained a reputation as a terminal with one of the highest levels of operational productivity and efficiency in Colombia.
