Sociedad Puerto Industrial Aguadulce (SPIA) in Buenaventura, Colombia, marked a new operational milestone on 4 December 2019, when it welcomed the maiden call of the largest ships to ever dock in Colombia, MSC Faith.

MSC Faith has a capacity of 14,436 TEUs and a length of 366 meters. The call coincided with the 3rd anniversary of the terminal and is testament to the strong commercial relationship between SPIA and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), one of the largest shipping lines in the world. This event also affirms Buenaventura’s position as a strategic port city for Colombia and its foreign trade partners.
